Seeking Background for Feature Film
We are currently seeking Background Talent for a feature film entitled "SHIVER" which begins principle photography November 30th. We're looking for actors and actresses, (ages range between 18 to 65) who are able to play a variety of Featured Background Roles including: Police Officers, CSI Technicians, Prison Officers, Waiters, Nurses, etc.
NOT AN ACTOR, but have always wanted to participate and observe the process of film-making? Should apply as well!

Poker Related Shoot Needs Actors
I'm doing a poker-related photo shoot in mid-December, probably December 16th (a Thursday) but that's tentative. It will only take a few hours, starting at 6:30 pm or so.
I need several actors with various attributes. Pay range will be from $60-$100, depending on the acting skill required and time in front of the camera. I also would like people with at least a small amount of poker experience - if you have played poker at a casino at least a handful of times, you would be qualified. I just want to make sure people are comfortable being at a poker table.
If you're interested, please send me one headshot or link to a picture and at least a sentence telling me your poker-playing history.
I need the following:
Asian Male (45-64 years old) Should be capable of being very stoic and keeping a good poker-face
Caucasian Male (35-45 years old) - Should be balding and pretty skilled at taking direction for various facial expressions
Caucasian Woman (30-40) Doesn't need much acting experience, will primarily be an extra.
African-American Man (35-45) Doesn't need much acting experience, will primarily be an extra.
Thanks for your time. It's not a big-paying job - it's for a personal project - but I will try my best to make it a fun shoot and something you'll be glad you worked on.

Writer/Director seeks a female 18-24 for an indie outlaw project. The role is a co-star, the project is non-union. The character is fun, creative, energetic, and a little bit punk. Local production company is casting for a feature film trailer
Shoot Dates are 18 - 21 DEC.
Do not reply if you are not available on those dates. We will be shooting in several locations downtown PDX.
Roles:
MARSH - 28 - 30, Female, A homicide detective. Will be in most if not all of the shots. There will be some running and a fight scene, so please be able to do the work.
Victoria - 28 - 30, Female. Bartender at nightclub and is attracted to Marsh.
Seth - Nightclub promoter and member of secret society. Could be the devil in the flesh.
Mullins - 40 - 50, Male, Homicide detective.
Victim - female. murdered college professor.
Extras. a couple of cops and nightclub patrons.

Open Auditions for The Odd Couple
The North End Players (www.stjohnsnorthendplayers.com) are holding open auditions for THE ODD COUPLE on December 8th & 9th at 7 pm. We are seeking 6 male actors ages 30-50 (to be able to play 40ish) and 2 female actors ages 25-45 (to be able to play 30ish) who must be able to perform a British accent. Auditions will be held in the undercroft of the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church located at 7600 N. Hereford St off Lombard. We will be doing cold readings from the script, no monologues please.
