Voice Over Auditions

Everlasting Films is holding an audition for voice actors for its
upcoming programme, A Christmas Special 2010. As the voice actor will
record his or her own lines using their own equipment and send in
lines via the internet, this role may be filled by anyone regardless
of location.

This Special is a tradition dating back to 1980 and this will be our
31st season! Every year, Everlasting Films has made a five day
Christmas special, each day playing songs for the season. Beginning in
2004, we made it available on the internet. The programme is
available on the internet radio station Live365.

We are holding auditions for two roles: The Host and the Guest Host.
The Host presents all five days of the special. The Guest Host
appears in the Friday edition and reads the Christmas Story. You can
hear what the Guest Host does by listening to the Friday show.

We're sorry, but there is no pay for these roles. This is the only
production Everlasting Films does that does not pay. Everyone at
Everlasting Films works on the Christmas Special for free as part of
the season.

Last day for auditions is Monday, 22 November 2009.

To audition for the role of the Host, please read the following copy:

HOST: (Enters and takes place at podium) Thank you. Thank you. Since
1980, we have been privileged to bring A Christmas Special to you, and
this year marks our twenty-ninth season of "celebrating the season".
It's been a long wait for Christmas to come around, so let's not delay
any longer with our first Yuletide song!

To audition for the role of the Guest Host, please read the following
copy:

GUEST: Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After his mother
Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found
with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph, her husband, being a just
man and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put
her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, an
angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream saying, "Joseph, son of
David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife, for that which is
conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit, and she will bring forth a
son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

Thank you and Happy Christmas!

Please e-mail all auditions in the following format:
