Seeking background actors for a unique PDX customer service training video.

Work with some of the most successful creative forces in Portland on an engaging, cinematic video that will be seen by upwards of 10,000 PDX employees and business owners.

There are four shifts available:

Actor/actress needed for commercial shoot (Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA)

Looking for an actor/actress to portray a customer of a local car dealership either Thursday, December 9th or Friday, December 10th. This will be a speaking role and will take an hour or so to shoot. Pulp Stage Audition Inquiry

The Pulp Stage has a limited number of audition slots left for for the PULP DICTION II staged-reading series. The auditions are taking place Tuesday next week.

We are seeking headshots and resumes only at this point. We will contact you by the weeks end if we have a slot for you.

If cast, rehearsals will begin in mid-January of 2011. Compensation is a percentage share of PULP DICTION II profits.

Audition for Ruddigore with Northwest Savoyards in Everett: Steampunk meets Gilbert & Sullivan!

Northwest Savoyards announces open auditions for Gilbert & Sullivan's
RUDDIGORE!

Directed by Danielle Villegas, Musical Direction by Josh Zimmerman

When: Auditions January 2, 3 & 4, 2011 - 7-10pm
Where: Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt Ave, Everett WA (rehearsals at same
venue)

Rehearsalsbegin January 9.
Show dates: March 9-20, Thurs, Fri & Sat evenings & Sunday matinee.
Performances at Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave.

Come audition for the original parody of melodrama, Gilbert & Sullivan’s
hilarious RUDDIGORE, with over-the-top villains who are heroes by intermission,
dashing heroes who find themselves wicked villains, a helpless maiden who likes
to stick to the book, a flock of out-of-work professional bridesmaids, and a
whole gallery of slightly annoyed paintings. Amplify all that with a generous
dose of steampunk, and you have a production that you just have to see to
believe!

Please prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue & 16-32 bars of a song (Gilbert &
Sullivan or musical theatre, but not a song from Ruddigore) – bring music in the
correct key. No pre-recorded music or a cappella singing, please – an
accompanist will be provided.

BPA Auditions for CHICAGO are January 11 & 13

BPA Auditions for CHICAGO

January 11 & 13: Tuesday & Thursday @ 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to hold CHICAGO auditions for
adults, ages 17 and older on January 11 and 13. With book by Fred Ebb
and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, CHICAGO is
based on the Tony Award-winning play "Chicago" by Maurine Dallas
Watkins.

Rehearsals extend February 2011 to May 2011, and run dates are May 13,
14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29, plus a Pay-What-You-Can Preview on
May 12.

Those auditioning are required to present one 1 - 2-minute memorized
dramatic monologue, and one Broadway style song in the style of CHICAGO,
but not from this musical. An accompanist will be provided, but
participants must bring sheet music or a music-only accompaniment CD.
Those auditioning are also requested to bring a headshot or a current
picture to the audition. Callbacks will include an extensive dance
component.

With the right song and dance, you can get away with murder. Join Roxie
Hart and Velma Kelly as they search for the "American Dream" - fame,
fortune and acquittal - in this sharp-edged satire directed by Steven
Fogell. CHICAGO has everything that makes Broadway great: a universal
tale of fame, fortune and all that jazz; one show-stopping song after
another; and the most astonishing dancing you've ever seen.

CHICAGO offers a variety of roles for adults, ages 17 and older.
Principal roles include Billy Flynn (baritone), Amos Hart (baritone),
Mary Sunshine (soprano), Roxie Hart (mezzo, strong vocals & dancer),
Velma Kelly (alto, strong vocals & dancer), and Mama Morton (alto/mezzo,
strong vocals). The ensemble will require men and women with strong
vocals and dancing and will include many cameo roles. All actors must be
comfortable with wearing provocative costumes.

BPA Auditions for CHICAGO are January 11 and 13, Tuesday and Thursday at
6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
