Seeking Male Voiceover Demo: British Accent Required. $500.
hi there,
i'm seeking a male voiceover demo featuring a british accent. it is for an industrial video i'm producing, very short (about 3.5 minutes). we have $500 towards a voiceover actor - affable, professional voice - think "medical industrial meets mercedes advertisement."
it is for a client company that makes software to help ensure ergonomic wellness. this video is for one of their customers based in the UK, who would like a personalized video introduction to the program.
if you'd like to audition: please send a link to your professional voiceover demo, include any info on your abilities with british accent, and also record (in any casual fashion, low-fi ok) a sample of your british accent with the following copy:
"We have invested in a DSE risk management programme to ensure a healthy and risk free workplace. Auditions for Fully Loaded Russian Roulette: Round 2
It's that time of year! The Fertile Ground festival is coming! You are welcome to attend the auditions for Contagious Theatre and Gorilla Bomb Productions' Fully Loaded Russian Roulette.
Fully Loaded Russian Roulette is a collection of six original plays from local playwrights, each making their world premiere.
The directors of the show are holding another round of auditions for those individuals who could not attend our last one.
Audition dates and times are: Saturday, 10/29/11, from 2 - 4 pm, and Sunday, 10/30/11 from 5 - 7 pm.
Please come prepared with a monologue or a cold reading of your choice. Headshots and resumes are welcome but not necessary. There is no need to schedule a time to audition.
Auditions will be held at The Hostess at 538 SE Ash St. Portland, OR. 97214.

Casting for action video actors (Portland)
Heya Portland actors,
I am a local filmmaker in the Portland area. I have equipment and some ideas for some short length action videos that I want to produce and I'm looking for some people that would be interested in acting in some of the scenes that I have planned out.
I plan on making an online series with short videos released every week that focus on action, comedy, suspense, etc. I'm looking for both men and women in all demographics. The videos should be a lot of fun to shoot. It's mainly just for fun now, so no pay. Just want to see if anyone wants to get together and make some fun action videos. Mostly running and shooting involved in the videos along with some wide-eyed dramatic looks and whatnot. I work a day job m-f 9-5 so I usually shoot on the weekends.

Zombie's and Soldiers Needed (Tualatin)
Here is your chance to get dressed up as a Zombie or Soldier for Halloween.
The Zombie Apocalypse Run needs Zombie's and Soldiers to volunteer at the run October 29th from 4-6 p.m. Preferably ages 10 and up. We have various scenes along the course that require volunteers to help set the "mood" for runners.

Need Stilt Walkers (1300 N. River St.)
We have a mega Halloween bash planned for this Saturday Oct. 29th.
We will be featuring a full fire and areal dance production at our party and hosting 750 guests. We would also like to incorporate stilt walkers into the evenings theatrics.

Halloween makeup artist for this week at FrightTown (Rose Quarter)
Hi - we're FrightTown, the big ol' haunted attraction that's beneath the Memorial Coliseum.
We're looking to supplement our makeup team with one more set of experienced hands for the remainder of our season - now through Monday, Halloween. Is that you? You need to be more than a little competent, know how to airbrush monster makeups quickly, have handled a prosthetic before, and be able to work under a ticking clock while putting up with the occasional diva. Hours are 4pm to 8pm.
If you don't have recent photos of your work please don't bother to respond. If you do, share and let's talk! Pay is based on how good you are, not how long you've been doing it.
