Casting Call for Feature Film
We are casting for a Portland based feature film that will be shot this winter. Wanted are men and women of all ages who are comfortable with stylized dialogue.
Title: I Play With The Phrase Each Other
Shooting date: February 2012
About the film: We are making the first modern movie by Generation Y.
Several roles are still open. Feel free to submit for the following:
Jake's Mom (fifties, sounds stressed, guilt trips her son through false confessions or apologies)
Marcus (male, white, mid-thirties, handsome, dark features without being ethnic, charming, an elusive edge that makes it realistic for him to turn into a manipulative, furtive heroin addict)
Maternal Woman (female, age flexible, possibly a baby boomer's age, possibly a grandma's age, extremely maternal looking and sounding)
Miles (male, white, late twenties, tall, athletic, handsome, affable)

About the adaptation
We are using the adaptation by Mark Healy.
His adaptation focuses more on the relationship between the sisters than the love interest--but of course that's still there! Most parts are written to be double cast with the exception of Elinor, Marianne and Willoughby.
The result is that everyone cast gets a great role. The characters are real, not caricatures.
Rehearsals
All week night rehearsals will be 6:30 to 10:00 with the possible exception of tech week 6:00-10:00. All Saturday rehearsals will be from 9:30 to 1:30.

Late 20-Early 30 M & F Needed (SE 12th & Hawthorne)
Studio 3 is the largest independently-owned commercial photography studio in the Northwest. We have worked for clients from Intel, Adidas, Starbucks, Stash Tea, Microsoft and Nintendo.
We are having an open casting for models this Tuesday, October 18th from 12:00-6:00. Models MUST be available ALL DAY on Friday October 21st.
We need the following models:
1. Male, Late 20's to early 30's, Slightly muscular in build, no visible tattoos, gauged piercings, or overly unique hairstyles. No ethnic limitations.
2. Female, Late 20's to early 30's, slim build, no visible tattoos, gauged piercings, or overly unique hairstyles. No ethnic limitations.
Both models will be payed $150 for a half day (4 hour max)
Models will only be admitted to the casting during the listed times above. Any models in before close will be considered. Please wear casual clothes, have clean appearance, women wear hair down, or natural.

CASTING for Comedy Short Film (Portland )
We are casting for a short film in November called Roomies.
PREMISE: Chris comes home and begins to prepare the house to have coworkers come over for an Oscar's party, but discovers an embarrassing secret about his roommate that he will not be able to hide. As the evening unfolds, our characters reveal that everyone has weird habits.
There will be 4, 8 hour shoot days, only one male will be needed all 4 days. There will be food served for each.
