Looking For An Actress (Mid-30s) For A Short Film Shoot

THE PART: Estranged from her elderly father for years, Jamie is forced to reconnect with him after he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.

Shooting on Friday, July 22nd (one day shoot only).

This is a non-union job and compensation will include credit, a copy of footage for your reel, and lunch, as well as the reward of being part of a project promoting public good and awareness of important issues.

The short is part of an online series produced by One Economy Corporation and the Public Internet Channel (http://pic.tv). One Economy is a global non-profit organization that leverages the power of technology and connects underserved communities around the world to vital information that will improve their lives. The Public Internet Channel is a public-purpose network of writers, producers and directors bringing videos, series, blogs, and tools to help a low-income audience.

Portland Actors Ensemble announces 2011 auditions for our indoor production of Richard III.

Please bring a head shot and resume and prepare one classical monologue of your choice (25 lines maximum).

PAE has been producing Shakespeare-in-the-Parks productions in Portland for 42 years with the mission of providing financially accessible classical theater in a non-traditional environment. Casting call for short film ROMANCE (Portland)

We are currently taking headshots and resumes for the short film ROMANCE. Reels are also encouraged.

ROMANCE is an edgy dark drama/comedy adapted from a story by a nationally bestselling author. Our production is locally independent and small but highly talented and ambitious.

Our shooting schedule will be from August 28 -- September 14, though we will need most roles for only single, half-day shoots. Auditions will be held in August.

Roles we're currently casting:

-Friend #2, 30's male, heavy set

-Friend #3: 30's male, working class

-Mother: Full featured woman in her 50's or 60's

1st Girlfriend: Full featured woman in her late 20's or early 30's
