Actors for Short

Casting for a short film to be shot over President's Day and Tuesday evening (02/21-02/22)


Dealing with the financial/job crisis the various characters in the film have their own ways of dealing, whether hording money, or scraping to get ahead. Grady comes up with a plan to rob his mother, pulling Lowell into it, against his will.

Lead roles needed.

Grady - mid 30's, lost his labor job and had to move back in with his mother. To do deal with the depression he begins snorting whatever comes his way.

Lowell - mid 30's, Grady's best friend, also unemployed. He lives with his Grandmother and hangs out with Grady against his better judgment.

Sophia - early 50's, Sophia had Grady at a young age, but got her life together and has a corporate job. Afraid of a total collapse, she pulls her savings from the bank. She's frustrated with her son Grady and his lack of focus/attempts to get a new job.

Director Adam Vargas from NY -

No pay (unfortunately) but food, gas, copy and imbd credit.

Actor, 30's/40's, Needed

Need male in his 30's or 40's to play a small role in a local video shoot tomorrow, Monday the 21st from 3:30 to 7:00. Please send pics/resume. It is non-paying, but will get copy of scene for your reel.
