On Golden Pond auditions this weekend at HART
HART is holding auditions for Ernest Thompson's On Golden Pond, directed by Carrie Boatwright.
When: Feb. 12th, 1-3pm and 13th, 5-7pm (Sat. and Sun.)
Where: Pythian's Building, 151 SE 2nd Ave. , Hillsboro , OR 97123
What: Auditions will consist of cold readings, resumes encouraged.
Who: Norman Thayer- old codger, 60++
Ethel Thayer, his wife and perfect counter-balance, 55++
Chelsea Thayer Wayne, their daughter, 35ish
Charlie Martin, local postman in love w/ Chelsea , 40ish
Bill Ray, Chelsea 's new flame, 40ish
Billy Ray, Bill's son, sullen preteen.
All roles are unpaid.
Welcome to the cabin of Norman and Ethel Thayer. They have returned to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. He is a retired professor, nearing eighty, with heart palpitations and a failing memory- but still as tart-tongued, observant and eager for life as ever. Ethel, ten years younger, and the perfect foil for Norman , delights in all the small things that enrich their long life together. They are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter and her fiance', who then go to Europe , leaving his teenage son behind for the summer. The boy quickly becomes the "grandchild" the elderly couple have longed for and shows Norman he still has a few things to learn. Join us on the Pond, to glimpse the sometimes choppy waters of facing one's own Autumn beside those we love and still struggle to understand. Contains some adult language and themes.
Rehearsals will begin Sat. March 12th, performances run May 6th-29th.

Casting for Short Film - Thriller
We will be filming the first ten minutes of a feature length film as a proof of concept, in order to attract investors. Upon completion of fundraising goals, the remainder of the script will be shot with additional cast and crew.
SHOOT DATES ARE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST and TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND.
Production is seeking three (3) principal actors and a minimum of five (5) crew members. A handful of extras all 21 years of age and over will also be required. Please send a copy of your headshot/resumé to be considered. Roles being cast are listed below.
MALE: Mid 20's to Early 30's. Average height, standard to muscular build.
FEMALE: 20's, slender. Blonde or brunette.
MALE: Mid to Late 30's. Gruff.
CASTING WILL BE COMPLETED BY THIS SUNDAY (2/13/11)
These positions are currently unpaid, though if the budget for the film is raised, all principal actors and crew members will be paid on a weekly basis. Food will be provided on set.
Those involved with this proof of concept shoot will be invited to a screening of the finished footage, and will receive a copy of the footage for their reels.

FEMALE SPOKESMODEL WANTED
Local startup companuy is looking for a spokesmodel to represent our brand.
Responsibilities will include filming 5 short 3 minute videos to introduce customers via our website
and a photo shoot.
Spokemodel will be responsible for hair, makeup and clothing changes. Shoot should take approx 6 hrs.
We are looking for someone fun and energetic with a great smile.
Modeling/Spokesmodeling experience is a definte plus.
