My production team and I are looking for about 8 actors and actresses to appear in a promotional video being made for a new start-up. The company is an online selling platform with an emphasis on shared social responsibility and charity.
These are all on camera non-speaking roles with an off-camera voice-over part for each actor.
Gig pays $50 flat rate for about 1-2 hours of work.

Mature African-American actor
Hi all,
Portland Revels (producers of the Christmas Revels at the Scottish Rite - Dec 7 thru 16, 2012) is looking to cast a 55+ African American man in a small supporting role in this year's production.
This is a paid position although Revels cannot currently hire AEA actors. Inexperienced actors are encouraged to apply. This is a small role in a very supportive environment.

Reminder- Christmas Belles auditions this Sunday and Monday
Serendipity Players is holding open auditions for all roles in "Christmas Belles." Auditions will be held in the evening on October 7th and 8th, from 7:00 to 9:00 at Serendipty Playhouse, 500 Washington St, Vancouver, WA 98660. Headshots and resumes are suggested but not required. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. All parts are available to actors of any ethnicity unless otherwise noted. The ages stated are a guideline only.
The roles:
Frankie- late 30's, very pregnant, worried about her family
Twink- late 30's/early 40's, recently jailed for accidentally starting a fire
Honey Rae- 40's, in charge of the Christmas pageant, feuding with Geneva
Geneva- 50's/60's, former pageant organizer, feuding with Honey Rae
Rhonda Lynn- 40's, a friend of Frankie's with a secret
Gina Jo- 20's, Frankie's daughter, romantically involved with Justin
Patsy- 40's the town snob
Dub- late 30's, Frankie's husband, working as a department store Santa
John- 30's/40's- the local sheriff, with eyes for at least one of the sisters
Justin- 20's, interim preacher, dating Gina Jo
Raynerd- 30's/40's/50's, works with Rhonda Lynn, childlike
Rehearsals are scheduled to begin October 15th and the schedule will be based upon the availability of the cast. Performances are November 30, December 1, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15 at 8:00, December 2, 9, 16 at 2:00.
This is a volunteer, non-equity production. There should be a small stipend to cover some expenses.

Audition Notice: Stop Kiss, by Diana Son
Brand new theatre company seeks actors for first production of Stop Kiss by Diana Son. Auditions will be held at MilePost 5 (900 Northeast 81st Avenue) in the church theatre space on Saturday, October 6th. The production goes up on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 and will run through January 20th, 2013 with a total of 8 performances. For actors interested in auditioning, please respond to this e-mail (subject line Stop Kiss Audition) with a headshot and resume and a time slot for which you wish to be scheduled:

After being scheduled for a time to read, you will be sent a side or two that you will be asked to become familiar with. Being off-book isn’t a necessity. Sides will also be provided at the auditions for those who do not bring their assigned scenes with them. The roles actors will be considered for are as follows:
Callie, late 20s to early 30s.
Sara, mid-20s to early 30s.
George, late 20s to early 30s.
Peter, mid-20s to early 30s.
Mrs. Winsley, late 30s to mid-40s.
Detective Cole, late 30s to mid-40s.
Nurse, late 30s to mid-40s. (The Nurse and Mrs. Winsley can be played by the same actor.)
A stipend will be provided for participation in this production.

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Auditions for Portland Shakespeare Project’s Third Season (Summer 2013)
Will Be Held at Artists Repertory Theatre on Sunday, October 14
and Tuesday, October 16
For your audition, please prepare a lighter Shakespearean monologue or soliloquy and a
piece that demonstrates your use of language by Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw or
Charles Dickens. Please make sure that the total time for both pieces does not exceed 4
minutes.
Auditions on Sunday October 14, will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
Auditions on Tuesday, October 16, will take place from 3:30 to 9:00 pm.
All auditions will take place at Artists Repertory Theatre, 1515 SW Morrison Street,
Portland, Oregon 97205.

Actress needed for short film (Vancouver Wa)
Hello,
I am looking to cast an actress for an indie short film I am producing. The film is titled "The Memory" and the specific scene I will shoot will be outdoors based in a nature area in Vancouver Wa.
The actress will be the main character's girlfriend, and will be about a memory he has. The goal of the scene is to look very organic and natural, there will be few lines and will be flirty and fun.
The actress I had lined up had to cancel last minute and I am trying to take advantage of the remaining weeks of sunshine to shoot. I plan on shooting on Sat 10/6 or Sun 10/7.
This is a great project to build on your acting portfolio and will be submitted to film festivals next year. There is no money compensation, all roles will receive credits.

Nuns: Ages 25 – 45

About the play:
Nuncrackers is the Christmas sequel to the audience favorite, Nunsense. The nuns have built a TV Studio in the basement of their convent and they plan to go "on the air" for the first time during the Christmas holidays. This musical continues in the same vein as Nunsense and includes the same nun humor, snappy tunes, and wild mishaps.
All characters will participate in songs and dance.
Auditions will include cold readings from the book and movement exercises so please dress comfortably. All participants will be asked to sing one upbeat or comedic song. An accompanist will be provided but everyone is encouraged to sing a capella with expressive movement.
Rehearsals will begin Oct. 14th.
Performance dates are Nov. 30 – Dec. 23, 2012 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
