About the company:
Valley Repertory Theatre (VRT) was founded earlier this year by George Fox University alumni, Stephen Pick and Caleb Thurston. After teaching and directing in Portland-area theatres, the two felt drawn back to the Newberg community where they had met and studied together. Their inaugural season opened in September with the well-received original play, Walk a Mile: Stories of Newberg. In addition to a full season of slated productions, VRT offers theatre classes for all ages through the Chehalem Cultural Center. VRT strives to engage its community through relevant, quality theatre experiences.
