KMHD Seeks On-Air Radio Hosts (Portland)
KMHD, Portland's full-time mainstream Jazz radio station, seeks qualified, dynamic hosts for two part-time on-air positions. These hosts will work a live shift during the weekdays, program music, and produce creative audio segments. Previous radio broadcast experience is a must, as is a deep knowledge of Jazz history. KMHD is licensed to Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham and operated by Oregon Public Broadcasting.

Known as the premiere Hip Hop Company of the Northwest, The Detail is famed for its incomparable athleticism, energy, innovative choreography and visual effect. The dancers have trained extensively in many styles including African, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Modern, Jazz, and Tap. Many of them have performed professionally for companies such as the Northwest Afrikan American Ballet, The Portland Trail Blazers (NBA), The Portland Fire (WNBA). A number of them have also been featured in industrial shows for Nike and Columbia Sportswear. Many of The Detail's dancers have done music videos and gone on tour with artists such as Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Snoop, Ne-Yo, Usher, Cassie, Missy, Ciara and more.

Feature Length Movie Needs Extras! (Scappoose/Portland)
You are cordially invited to an all call for talented actors taking place in Scappoose, Oregon (20 min NW of Portland) for a feature length film being shot August 22nd through August 27th. So here is my question: Do any of the following describe you?
Men and women ages 18 -- 50 for guest spots and extras
Boys and girls ages 14 -- 19 for guest spots and extras
Girls ages 6 -- 10, 14 -- 16 and 17 -- 19 for guest spots and pageantry
Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent. A waiver will be made available upon arrival at casting, so bring your parents!
Please note that while some roles will be compensated, most will be volunteers only. This, however, is a great way to start or add to your resume!
The casting call will take place Saturday, August 13th from 10am to 2pm. It will be held at Scappoose High School (33589 SE High School Way) in the gym.
