PDX Freak Show needs actors for promo video shoot (Close-in PDX)

I am in need of a bunch of extras for a promotional video shoot on Wednesday and Sunday this week. The videos are to promote a Halloween party (facebook.com/pdxfreakshow) that will serve 2 purposes: highlight the Portland film and FX community and 2) raise money for charity (childhood cancer research, specifically). There is no budget for this project, as all proceeds are tapped for charity, but it will be a fun shoot with a professional crew. Here is what we need:

For 9/14:
- Male Customer, age unimportant, must be available from 8-10am.
- Male customers, age 25-35, aging frat boys, need 3 total, must be available from 2-4 pm.
- Kid: age 7-9, gender not important. Will be needed from about 11 am to 1pm. Child looks at ice cream through the ice cream counter, and takes the ice cream cone from the employee. Confused reaction at the end. Need an expressive kid.

For 9/18:
- Mom & Dad types, parents eating doughnuts, must be available from 8-10 am.
- Doughnut shop customers: need 3-4 kids, gender not important, age 6-9, to play customers at Voodoo Doughnuts. Will be needed from 8 am to 10 am.
- Ballet Dancers: need a group of 8 kids age 6-8 who know basic ballet. Gender not important. Girls will need to have a pink leotard and tut or dance skirt, boys would need white ballet leggings and tank top. Will be needed from about 11 am to 1 pm.
- Freaks and Freakettes: the big finale is a parade with a bunch of side-show freak-type characters. Need as many bodies as possible! Shooting from 2 pm-dusk.

Thank you in advance for your help! If you have any questions, please let me know. It's going to be a fun shoot.

Reply to: We will be casting from headshots - please indicate the role you are interested in and availability when submitting to casting@jackal-films.com.

Models needed for bridal and formalwear photo shoot (Portland / East side)

Female models needed immediately for photo shoot. Models will be photographed in wedding gowns, prom, mother's gowns, flowergirl and special occasion wear.

All sizes, and ages welcome to apply.

This is an unpaid position, but models will receive a digital copy of each gown they are photographed in! Great for your portfolio!! Please send photo, your height, and the size you wear in regular clothing. (wedding gowns always fit small so don't panic when we fit you into a size 16 gown, when you really only wear a size 12 in other clothes.)

Shooting begins immediately and we can work around most any schedule, as we have hundreds of gowns to photograph. Please come ready to be photographed, with your hair and makeup done the way you want to be seen!

Immediate Opening for a Stage Manager

Our amazing stage manager has wisely been snapped up by another local
company for a full-time gig, so we are looking for someone who can come
on board ASAP to take over for our upcoming show in Klamath Falls on
October 22 and hopefully stay on through our show in Salem in January.
She's left you beautiful notes and cue sheets from mounting the show in
Illinois a few weeks ago. It should be a matter of getting up to speed
on the show and making minor adjustments for the different venues.

The listing is available for download from our website:
http://www.pendulumaerialarts.org/employment.htm

But, of course, I've pasted the full description here for ease! Look
forward to hearing from you and appreciate help spreading the word so we
can get this position filled quickly.

Best wishes,
Lena Munday
