AUDITION: OREGON CABARET THEATRE
Hello PDX,
Jim Giancarlo, Artistic Director for Ashland's Oregon Cabaret Theatre, will be in town this weekend and would like to see musical theatre performers interested in being involved in OCT's forthcoming season.
Auditions Saturday, December 18th.

OREGON CABARET THEATRE
CASTING for 2011 Season
The Daly News
New musical by Jonathan Gillard Daly (music by Gregg Coffin & Larry Delinger) based on family newsletter that Jon's grandfather Martin wrote during WWII to keep the family together.
Feb 9 – March 27; rehearsals begin Jan 19
3 male actors. Jon/Martin – (late 50s) present day narrator (Jon), Martin, others. Actor 1 and Actor 2 – (20s) each plays 2 sons as well as other characters. Pianist/actor – skilled pianist to provide all music plus playing some small character roles.
Holmes & Watson Save the Empire: A Musical Mystery
New musical by Jahnna Beecham and Malcolm Hillgartner. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson trapped in a room and must solve Moriarty's deadly riddle.
April 6 – June 5; rehearsals begin May 25
2 strong male actor/singers to play Holmes and Watson; mid-30s or older
The Marvelous Wonderettes
Revue of girl-group music from the 1950s (Act One) and 1960s (Act Two).
June 15 – Aug 28; rehearsals begin May 25
4 female singer/actors (mid-20s); all must be great comic actors, extremely strong solo Pop vocalists as well as excellent with close harmonies
What A Glorious Feeling
New musical play set in a rehearsal studio during the filming of Singin' In the Rain.
Sept 7 – Nov 6; rehearsals begin Aug 17
Gene Kelly – strong actor/singer/dancer (40) convincing as Mr Kelly; Stanley Donen - (28) Kelly's co-director, forever in Gene's shadow; strong actor/singer/dancer; Jeanne Coyne – (29) Donen's ex-wife, Kelly's future wife; strong actor/singer/dancer; Debbie Reynolds – (19), strong actor/singer/dancer with good comedic skills, convincing as young Debbie Reynolds; Arthur Freed (songwriter/producer) – (56) strong actor, doesn't sing.
Cabaret Christmas
An original holiday musical revue: songs, stories, sketches.
Nov 18 – Dec 31; rehearsals begin Oct 26
4 versatile actor/singers (probably 2 male, 2 female)

**Seattle Area**
Actor with stunt experience needed Sat. Dec 18th in Seattle
Need actor with some stunt experience. Any ethnicity, 35-45 of age with a little bit of a paunch.
Shooting scene but bullet hit will be offscreen so no squibs just ability to fall down convincingly. $30 for 1-1 1/2 hours.
Location will be Interurban area late morning.

**Seattle Area**
Glass Menagerie Auditions
Sky Performing Arts in Monroe will hold auditions for their late winter
production of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams directed by
Alexandra Carlyle Clark. Auditions will be January 9th from 3-5pm and
January 10th 7-9pm by appointment. Please come prepared to present an
appropriate monologue and possible cold read from script. Rehearsals will
begin a week later and schedule will be set to the cast availability about 3
times a week to start. More as needed and opening draws near, plan on all
week during tech week. All rehearsals and performances will be in Monroe
and play opens February 25th and runs three weekends.
All roles available.
