Casting male role for staged reading

I'm casting for a lead role in a staged reading of my play "Yarp?!" (performance scheduled for January 30th, 12:30pm in the Armory Lobby, featured through the Fertile Ground Festival). The rest of the cast has been filled, except for this one role: the character is "Chad", a crude, funloving man who operates a food cart for a living, he cusses and drinks beer throughout most of the play (no actual beverages will be consumed on stage), and is an advanced martial artist. I'm aiming to cast the role as soon as possible. January 30th is the only date set in stone that you would need to commit to. We will schedule 4 to 5 rehearsals around everyone's availability. The cast includes Rusty Tennant in the role of "Jeremy", Michael Beisanz in the role of "Skip", Kate Mura in the role of "Lilian", Eric Bustillo in the role of "Marv", and will be directed by the one and only Sha Sha (Sharon) Sassone.

Casting for Female for Short Film/Promotional Trailer

We are now casting for a female supporting lead.

*Film Synopsis:*

A young woman finds herself back in a relationship with her old boy friend
from college. As their relationship gets more serious she begins to notice a
change in him that she can’t explain. Something is not right. She gets an
unexpected visit from another woman who has information about his family and
past. As things turn from bad to a nightmare both woman are subjected to
unimaginable terrors and struggle to stay alive.

*What we need for this character:*

Character name, Shelly

Role, Supporting Lead

Gender, Female, Age 20 to 25

Body type, Normal or athletic

Height, 5’ 4” or shorter

Experience, Please have experience in film or theater at least 2 years or
more preferred. We need a headshot and resume.

Character synopsis, A cashier with a wild side she likes to party and hang
out with her friends. She finds herself in a bad relationship and can’t get
out. She ends up meeting another woman who has the all answers she is
looking for.

All roles are unpaid this is a low budget production. The entire cast is
required to sign a release form before production begins. A DVD copy of the
finished trailer will be provided to each actor and crewmember. Shooting
will take place 3 weekends January 2011 in the Seattle area. This is a
Non-Union, Non-SAG job.
