Audition Reminder - Tribute Theatre's "The Serpent"

All levels of acting/dancing/movement experience are encouraged to audition!

Tribute Theatre is opening it's doors with Jean Claude Van Itallie's "The Serpent."

This play is a movement based play, focusing on the book of Genesis and the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr. Adam and Eve ate the fruit, gained the knowledge of good and evil and were cast out into the world to suffer pain, childbirth and death. We remember the negative of this transaction, but what of their profit? They (and the subsequent following human race) lost their innocence and ignorance and gained knowledge of the hardships of the world, but also the wonders of it.

This play will be approached non-denominationally, and is meant to explore danger going hand in hand with enlightenment. Rehearsals will take place January 4th through February 10th, with productions being performed the 11th, 12th and 13th. Auditions will be held 4-8pm on December 16th and 17th.

This project is self-funded, and actors will not be paid, but you'll get to work with lots of awesome people and take part in a truly exciting show!

Casting Males for Documentary Reenactment (Downtown Portland)

We are casting four males for a documentary reenactment to take place in downtown Portland.
We are casting on size dimensions. We are looking for the following:

Males who are:

5'7 145 lbs

6'2 240 lbs

5'11 180 lbs

6'0 200 lbs

Casting Call for Training Video- lots of parts! (Eugene, OR)

Actors Needed for an Alcohol Server Training Program

IRIS Educational Media is casting for a training program for alcohol servers that addresses appropriate uses of psychology for handling a variety of situations in the work place. We will film over the course of two weeks in early February at several different bars and restaurants in Eugene.

We are looking for actors of all looks and ethnicities (ages 21 and older) to play:
Bartenders
Waiters/Waitresses
Bar managers
Bouncer (1 role available)
Patrons
Program Hosts (2 roles available- experienced, charismatic actors/actresses between ages 21-30 only)

Auditions will be scheduled for January 7th and 8th in Eugene. (I will also accept video demo reels instead of a live audition if travel is difficult for you. Let me know if you would prefer this option.)

We will also need quite a few extras to fill up the bars, so even if you have no acting experience at all, we may have a part for you!

Pay varies depending on the role and on experience.

AUDITIONS for "Big River"

Staged! is proud to announce auditions for the musical BIG RIVER (music & lyrics by Roger Miller, book by William Hauptman).

Actors age 22 & under are invited to audition for our annual "All-Star Youth" production, featuring young people from across the metro area. Performances will be April 8-24, 2011 at the World Trade Center Theater. Directed by Paul Angelo & Andrew Bray, students will have the chance to work alongside & learn from professional guest artists.

Student roles are unpaid.

Auditions will be held January 6 & 7, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Callbacks will be on January 8.
Please prepare 32 bars, & bring your headshot, resume, and sheet music. Pianist provided.
