TELESERVICES ASSOCIATE

We seek staff members who have a passion for the arts and who enjoy working in a creative and demanding environment.

Position Summary
The position is a part-time, non-exempt employee. This position is part of the Marketing Department and alternately the Development Department. We are seeking a dynamic team-oriented individual to be an enthusiastic member of a highly successful Teleservices team. The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated; goal and process oriented; and excel in oral communication. Portland Center Stage needs Teleservices Associates to help with our 2011-2012 subscription sales and fund-raising campaign. This is a part-time evening position; 20-25 hours per week with great compensation and you can see all the shows!

Essential Responsibilities
Initiate and maintain patron phone contact for New and Renewal subscription sales and/or fundraising
Solicitation upkeep, annotation and organization within Tessitura software
Process sales/donation forms consistently and accurately
Inform customers of promotions, packages and other subscription-related information
Be knowledgeable about theatre activities and events to keep patrons informed
Follow department procedures, guidelines and supervisor instructions
In a role where details count, callers must keep abreast of changes in shows, prices, promotions and theatre policies.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or GED required.
Some college experience preferred.
Non-Profit telemarketing experience preferred
Phone-based customer service preferred
Database software experience preferred
Self-motivation with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills
Be focused, flexible and have great attention to detail.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to sit for extended periods and use a phone handset or headset for contacting customers.
Comfortable learning new computer software and using a computer while talking on the phone.
Must be comfortable working in an environment in which directions and priorities can change rapidly.

Salary & Benefits
Minimum wage plus commissions, contests

Seeking dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial manager to run Food and Beverage operations for Portland Center Stage's 600+ performances and events per year. Position Summary
This full-time, exempt position is responsible for the successful operation of the Armory café/concessions and the execution of catering assignments. He/she hires, trains, manages, and oversees the café staff to ensure all patrons receive the highest level of customer service possible.

Essential Responsibilities
• Manages and motivates the café staff and bartenders (including: hiring, scheduling, and performance management)
• Trains new employees and provides ongoing training for all café staff
• Assists in menu planning, daily specials and pricing for the Café
• Bids and implements catering for in-house and outside events as needed.
• Establishes, monitors and analyzes the café budget and generates daily/weekly sales reports
• Develops and implements café policies and procedures
• Ensures adherence to all regulations relating to: Multnomah County Department of Health, Oregon Liquor Control Commission, and other applicable codes and licenses.
• Ensures that proper cash handling and accounting procedures are followed.
• Ensures that proper food/alcoholic beverage storage and handling procedures are followed.
• Manages vendors and maintains inventory
• Responsible for keeping all café areas clean, neat and orderly
• Oversees Café and Catering equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Orders any supplies needed for the café
• Conducts departmental meetings
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as required

Skills and Knowledge
• An excellent understanding of food and beverage operations, and all related equipment.
• Must be highly motivated
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Good organizational skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment in which directions and priorities can change rapidly.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary

Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years experience in food service, including at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• College Degree preferred.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a CPR certification, Food Handlers Card and OLCC Server's Card.
• Passion for the arts, particularly theater, a plus.

Need actress for independent crime drama (Portland)

Looking for an attractive, slender woman for role in an independent crime film who is age 21-35. Some experience in acting would be preferred, but is not necessary, you will have a few lines of dialogue . One day of shooting up to four hours.
