Need actress for independent crime drama (Portland)
Looking for an attractive, slender woman for role in an independent crime film who is age 21-35. Some experience in acting would be preferred, but is not necessary, you will have a few lines of dialogue . One day of shooting up to four hours. Casting One Female for Indie Film Shooting in November (SE Portland)
Due to scheduling conflicts, a very talented actress had to back out of production for our indie film, 'The Tracking Game', a psychological thriller being shot with a very limited budget and locations. We are now in need of an actress to replace her as 'Destiny Arias'. The character is a senior in high school, but as long as you can pass for 17 or 18, we can cast you. If you are 28, that is fine- we have a 28 year old actress playing 10 years younger as it is! We cannot offer pay for this film, but it will make good reel material and good resume material. It will also most likely premiere at Hollywood theatre. We will also submit it to film festivals, and are also thinking of doing a spin-off web drama series if the film gets big enough. A lot of the filming is over by Mt. Scott church of God, over on Flavel street. So if you submit for the role, please have transportation of some kind. When you audition, it will probably be at the Clackamas town center, in the barnes & noble cafe. Without further a due, we will now describe the character, and the film, and give a link to the teaser:
SYNOPSIS:
Sam Pierce wakes up one afternoon, somehow in some bushes with his best friend Destiny Arias, to find all his cellphone contacts gone. Little does he know, that when he was passed out drunk the night before, in the aftermath of prom, a man took his phone, took his SIM card out, and planted a different one inside. What happened was Sam got his SIM card swapped with that of con-artist Frankie Delmar's GPS monitored one. An arms dealer installed GPS onto Frankie's SIM card so that he couldn't leave town. Frankie betrayed the dealer; Steven Vaughn, by basically stealing weapons and selling them, and now Vaughn is asking for a $60,000 dollar pay-up. Frankie in turn hired a friend, Stan, to transfer the chip into someone else's cellphone, which was too risky for Frankie to do himself. When Vaughn calls for Frankie, he doesn't get Frankie. He gets Sam, and won't take an "I'm not Frankie" for an answer. Not long after, the teen is faced with a forceful order to hold a rich woman named Sonya Simmons at gunpoint. Sam is innocent, but that doesn't matter on the other end of the phone line.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
DESTINY ARIAS is a tomboyish girl who likes to party. Her two best friends are Sam Pierce & Avery Honor. Destiny is not mean, nor is she incredibly nice. She is just one of those people hard to get a read on. She often provides peer pressure for Sam, who is the complete opposite from her and is no partier whatsoever. Destiny still dresses girly, but she does have that tomboysih thing about her. (SUPPORTING CHARACTER)

Comedy Improv actresses (NE Portland)
I need to cast two actresses for a one night performance of an original, interactive, murder mystery themed show, Saturday October 22. One actress in her 20s to early 30s to play a rich, spoiled, dumb blonde type. Actress should be very funny and very attractive. Other actress in her 30s to play the gypsy/medium. Actress should be able to use a comic, European voice. Both roles require improv skills and learning a short script. There will be one required rehearsal prior to the show. A subtle, deeply emotional micro short film is looking for both experienced and inexperienced actors, both male and female, to audition.
Here's the deal: there is no pay involved with this project - except in solid material for your reel when you are finished. If you believe you are born to be a dramatic actor, but you haven't had a chance to prove it, now's your chance. Female extra for film on domestic violence (tigard)
We're making a short film on domestic violence. It's one woman's story and inspirational, while showing the damage caused by domestic violence. It's a realistic portrayal of abuse which is mostly non physical. I need three female actresses to serve as extras for the domestic violence group scene. Ideally, I'd like some of the women to be minority of color because I want to show that domestic violence occurs in families regardless of ethnic background. The main character is white (which is a way to debunk the myth that domestic violence is limitted to minority of color. The shoot dates are Sat Nov 5th and Sun Nov 6th. Two hour shoot for this scene, but the schdedule hasn't been determined yet. The footage will include close-ups. We appreciate your help with this worthwhile project!

Baby for short film on domestic violence (Tigard)
This is a short film which will be used to help women and children who are victims of domestic violence. However, the scenes with babies are happy scenes. I need a baby girl up to age 12 months and old enough to sit in a baby swing. I need a baby boy or toddler infant to 3 years. Both babies must match the actors I have, who have blue eyes. However, we still need an extra to play the baby girl's mother, so if you come as a team that would be great! Actress for baby's mother should be attractive and able to portray age 22. Her husband has already been cast. Shoot dates are Saturday November 5th and Sunday November 6th. The baby will only be needed for an hour, but we don't yet know which day and what time. The baby boy must match the adult actor I have as its supposed to be him as a baby. Blue eyes, light brown hair. Or no hair, as is the case sometimes with babies.
