Seeking Cast/Crew/Equipment for live action short film (Salem/Portland, OR)
Live action student short film is looking to fill crew positions, 4 featured speaking roles and in search for some equipment. Filming in Salem, OR - August 3rd thru 5th. We've got great people already on board helping with this film.
This is a fun, children's movie about a young boy who accidentally discovers an evil force that has set out to rid the world of parents. We are looking to cast the following roles:
Young Bethany (9-11 years) Blond or Brunette. Featured speaking role.
Young Linda (9-11 years) Blonde or Brunette. Featured speaking role.
Cop 1 - (30s-40s) Average Build. Featured speaking role.

Fit Female for running shoot (Portland)
Working on two video projects / still shoots. Both are portfolio based, although one has the potential to be used by a national shoe company (not one from here).
Need females, age 22-35, who are fit and run on a regular basis.
For one project I need you to be a SIZE 7 shoe (a 7.5 will most likely work as well). There is also the need in this project for ridding on a long board on sidewalks. So please let me know your comfort level with this.
I am a professional photographer with years of experience who is updating / improving my portfolio.
This is for trade, digital files of the photographs as well as completed video. The project that has potential to be used by the shoe company will also be in trade for shoes and an agreed amount of money if sold. Also willing to pay some upfront to the right person.

Need beautiful women (21-30) for upcoming music video shoot (Portland, Or)
Hi!
I manage a few musical artists/groups in Portland, I'm currently seeking women for 2 video shoots, for 2 different artists/groups.
Both videos being shot in late August.
One video is a feel good summer song, all about partying, cars, girls, summer..... The other will be more performance based, intimate club/bar, crowd shots....
In both videos we plan to have 2-3 girls be considered "leads" but need around 20 girls total for each video.

Male Child needed for Leading Movie Role (Portland)
We are 2 directors looking for a leading role for a full-length motion picture (Working title: "Becoming"). Seeking a male child actor, between the ages of 9-12. Must be physically fit, outgoing and personable. This is a full movie, not a short film. The youth's character is the main character of the first half of the film. A basic summary of the boy's story: This is a grand love story (his parents), a boy's life on a farm. He is being raised to be a hard-worker, to have morals, etc. But his Father is perhaps too hard on him while raising him. The boy's Father is secretly a genius and has a cybernetics laboratory for healing paralyzed people, the boy is also secretly a genius with computers. In the end, the boy creates a tug-of-war between his parents, and finally divorce results. (Later in the film, the boy is shown grown up, and he in his final scene is revealed to have been destined to be a "superhero" of sorts). This role will involve strong acting, personality, green screen work, special effects. We are slated to film this in the end of August/Early September. The boy will initially have more scenes and therefore time commitments than most of the other actors. It would be best for all involved probably to try and take advantage of summer vacation time availability. This is volunteer work, no compensation available (it was all invested in pre-production)- But you will receive a full screen credit and IMDB listing. We will need and expect a strong degree of commitment and reliability. Due to this actor being a minor: We expect and need one parent to be present at most times. (Please do not bring the entire family along to the set!). (One of us is a parent of a 9-year old, so we are fully understanding and considerate of any concerns you may have). This will be a rare, enriching opportunity for your child, and memories of a lifetime will result. This will be great for their acting resume. This film has received and will receive every advantage, and will also be submitted to Cannes, Sundance, etc. We will only be seeking distribution from Hollywood, and that is the strongest position to be in. We have spent almost 5 years on this production from the script to the world-class props, and will be filming with top equipment. Female Actress/Leading Lady wanted for Movie (Portland)
We are 2 directors looking for a leading lady for a full-length motion picture (Working title: "Becoming"). Seeking a female actress, who is attractive, physically fit, seems kind and loving, but strong inside. Must be no more than 5'6" tall, between ages of 25-38 years old. This is a full movie, not a short film. Your character is the leading female of the first half of the film (but you also resurface as an important character in the 2nd half, when you are 10+ years older), and you help carry the first half of the film. Your story is a grand love story, you are a heroic, good woman, but your husband is probably too hard on your son while raising him. In the end, you lose your marriage to the love of your life to divorce. (Unknown to you, he has a secret cybernetics laboratory. He is a genius of sorts, and is healing paralyzed people). Years later, when your son is grown... you finally remarry a man that betrays you almost immediately. Tired, heart-broken- Your character commits suicide. This forever changes the lives of those connected to her, especially her son (who also has a secret gift). Your character has very powerful moments, that will be the predominant reasons the audience believes the romance, cries at the death and marriage loss, etc. Your role will involve strong acting, personality, there are a couple of love scenes- but no nudity. Your leading man will be strong and attractive. His character is a good man. We are slated to film this in the end of August/Early September. You will have more scenes and therefore time commitments than most of the other actors for a while. Auditions for "The 39 Steps"
Theater Outreach in Salem, a community theater, is looking for 4 funny, talented actors to bring their fall show to life. Just 4 actors tackle all the roles in Patrick Barlow's hilarious send-up of Alfred Hitchcock's classic film, "The 39 Steps". We are auditioning now with rehearsals to start in mid-August with the show running Sep 30 thru Oct 8 in Salem.
All actors and crew are amateur volunteers. This is in Salem.
