Comedy Series (Vancouver)
Seeking cast and crew for a weekly comedy series to begin this fall in Vancouver, WA.
The show takes place in an Irish Pub and is built around the following characters:
Middle-aged male owner: Good-natured, taken advantage of by workers.
Female manager, late 20s/early 30s: Professional, take-charge type.
21 year-old male bartender: Actor may be younger or older, but must look 21.
Early 20s female barmaid: Sexy princess, more interested in showing off than working.
Speaking and non-speaking extras for customers and other parts needed as well.
Also seeking people to help with hair/make-up, set design, production crew, writing, etc. These are all volunteer positions to begin with, but we have several sponsors in mind to target once we have a few finished shows in the can.

actress 40's for stage production (Portland)
Need an actress to play the compassionate "Mom" to a young man who believes he was abducted by aliens but in fact was really sexually abused as a child and suffers amnesia. This is Mysterious Skin by Prince Gomolvilas, based on Scott Heim's novel, playing from Aug. 18 to Sept. 24. It's a small part, but an important one. Casting Call Male Actor - Late 20s (PDX)
Seeking a male actor in his late 20s for an independent short film. Qualities like Joseph Gordon-Levitt (appearance/style) preferred though not required. Filming will primarily be held around mid-late July and mid-late August. This film will be screened at the Hollywood theatre in Portland and will be sent to various film festival world wide.
Casting will be held at the Art Institute of Portland this Saturday, July 16th from 1pm to 5pm

Casting Call (Portland)
my short film being shot this summer. It is a visually motivated interpretation that will give an insight into the lives of an old Missouri couple who find a bizarre way to make ends meet.
My two main characters, Ray and Faye, are a male and a female who are in their 70's. Ray is an uneducated, illiterate ranch man who has been in and out of jail for cattle theft and writing fraudulent checks. He is cold and has no compassion. He abuses his wife and kids, lives like he is above the law and is always struggling for money. Faye is a compulsive list keeper that suffers from battered wife syndrome and obvious insanity. All she wants is to have a normal life so she finds ways to cope with her extraordinary situation. These characters are extremely dark and need to have a certain appearance.
I am also looking for:
-a male between the ages of 30 and 40 to play as a cowboy styled hitch-hiker/ drifter
-a male between the ages of 45 and 50 to be a detective
-four males between the ages of 25 and 50 to be sheriffs
-another male between the ages of 40 and 50 to be a Judge
-four males and/or females between the ages of 30 and 40 to be lawyers
-a 20-30 year old female as the courtroom stenographer
-and I am also looking to get 10-15 extras to fill the courtroom
I will be holding a casting call at the Art Institute of Portland (1122 Northwest Davis Street Portland, OR 97209) on Sunday July 17th from noon until 8pm. Please respond and let me know when you would be able to stop by. I will be interviewing possible cast in 15 min increments. I have several people interested in the project and would like to get a schedule of when each person is thinking about coming by so please do reply. I will have someone in the lobby to meet and greet you and please remember to bring a headshot. This will be a 5-10 minute piece with NO DIALOGUE. So the casting will not be the typical casting call but more of an opportunity for me to try and find the right look for each part. I am very excited for this production and know it is going to be something unique and special. Transportation, food, lodging, and a professional, fun experience will be provided.The production won't be until August. The story, idea and crew are in place, all I need is you. Thanks!
