Auditions for Arcana the Series
Auditions this Saturday Nov 6th.
CASTING CALL
Seeking actors for Arcana – an internet-based drama series that explores the fantasy genre without being overly fantastical.
The series will shoot in February, May and September with some rehearsals prior.
Stairs (Lead male): male early to mid 20’s average build. The reluctant hero of series.
Eliza (Lead Female): Female early to mid 20’s. Girlfriend of Stairs, driven and supportive yet emotionally guarded.
Brendon (Supporting Male) Male late 20’s – early 30’s, lanky slacker type, supplies much of the comic relief in the series.
Phoebe (Supporting Female): late 20’s – early 30’s, average height and build, brainy and attractive.
Xerxes: Imposing in stature and intimidating in presence, running antagonist of series.
**The series also offers MANY smaller reoccurring roles and various incidental parts over its 11 episodes. Please submit for this and future auditions-ALL submissions will be kept on file.

**Seattle Area**
Need 2 male actors, Non Union for Corporate Training (paid)
Toronto based corporate training organization is looking to cast 2
well-versed male actors, any age, to perform short scripted scenes. After
each scene is performed you will break the 4th wall and improvise Q&A with
the audience in character. Each actor will play 3 roles. The characters
are potential customers for an imaginary toy company.
The time commitment is the following:
1 read through session in Seattle (date TBD)
1 rehearsal with the Toronto rep in Redmond on Nov 14 9 AM- subject to
change
2 performances on wed nights: Nov 17 and Dec 8 in Redmond with call time
around 4 PM.
Compensation:
$50 per rehearsal
$150 per performance day
$20 wardrobe use per performance
($440 total)

Looking for actor or actresses to play parent in a short film
We are a shooting in a 5min Short film for a Nationwide contest
(www.campusmoviefest.com).
Looking for actor or actresses to play parent figure in a short film
(the actress playing the daughter is Filipino so preferably an actor
the perferred actor/actress is someone who looks or is Filipino )
Gerry (Father)
Stern, direct, arrogant Late 30’s – 50, 5’5 or taller, preferably a
person who wears glasses, but that is not a requirement.
Janine (Mother)
Stern, direct, arrogant Late 30’s – 50, 5’5 or taller, preferably a
person who wears glasses, again its not a requirement
Shooting dates
Novermber 5th Friday 6pm-7pm
or
November 6th Saturday 1-3pm
(depending on the actors/actresses availability)
We are still college students so there won't be any compensation for
film. But don't let that discourage if the movie wins it will be shown
nationwide.

it focus on the conflicts the boxer deals with in and outside the ring
it mostly a visual piece focused on a constant flow of action in and
outside the ring
