Seeking Actors For Workshops

I am looking for actors or an organized entity that might be interested in putting on acting workshops. The participants are young men in MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility. Our program, Hope Partnership, is a pilot at MacLaren of the University of Hope Project. In particular we coordinate workshops in the Arts, Life Skills, and Recreation and Fitness. We know that providing these experiences promotes personal growth, educates and gives outlet to our youth for appropriate expression and ultimately provides connections in the community for successful transition. As an educator I know how important the Arts are for brain development. Our young men would benefit from and are interested in a full fledged theatre program, but we are in the process of beginning with introduction to theatre, theatre games, and drama workshops.

Short Film "Sack Lunch" casting Saturday 11/13

In the coming months I will be shooting 5 short films with a common theme: revenge. While each film will stand alone as a short and submitted to festivals, the project at large will be distributed as a feature. The first in the series is a short film titled "Sack Lunch" which will be shooting between 12/3-5, depending on availability of all. Shooting will likely only take one day. We need an actress who has strong comedic timing, as the script relies heavily on the performance of the lead character. The husband is a smaller role, but plays a pivotal part in the project. There is no upfront pay for this, but you will receive credit, copy, food and a back-end deal should this project go on to make money.

SACK LUNCH, comedy by Jacqueline Gault
A middle-age housewife cures frustration with a little passive-aggressive revenge.

Wife: mid to late 40's to mid-60's, typical empty-nester mom type. Mom is the focal point of this film, which has very little dialogue, but tons of action. Comedic timing and personality are what will sell this role to audiences.

Husband: mid to late 40's to mid 60's, businessman, professional. Cold and militant.
