Extra's Needed for Senior Student Film (Portland)
Here's the deal everyone, we are shooting a senior film on January 28th and 29th which is THIS Saturday and Sunday and we are in need of about 15 extras. We would need you on set ALL DAY for the whole TWO DAYS. So only if you are available and interested please respond to this.
Here is what the film is about:
"Turn the Page" which is about a man, Jack who appears to be your average businessman with a tendency to unnoticed kindness. One day he meets the eye-catching hipster Elyse at the library. Finding a connection the two seek to learn more about one another, but when the rules of the library and the other patrons get in the way, they find that sharing a connection is not as easy as they had hoped.
So what we are in need of are some great people to be just everyday people hanging out in the library. Food will be provided on set and it will be a blast!

Casting Lead Male Role
NW FILM CENTER PROFESSIONAL-STYLE FILM EXPERIENCE!: SHORT TO BE SHOT ON 16MM FILM
HEART is a 20 minute NARRATIVE short film, featuring EXPERIMENTAL elements.
The story is about Jonas and Kenvin Kierkowzki's struggle with their unique neuroses. Each of these brothers has chosen to deal with their involvement with the death of their younger brother in a different and troubling way. The film also addresses their shared boyfriend and this complex relationship.
The project will be directed by the talented team of Stephanie Hough and Taylor Turner. This will be their 7th short film together, and it will be the THESIS PROJECT of Hough's certificate program in film at the NORTHWEST FILM CENTER.
Lead Role
JONAS KIERKOWZKI: 27 - 35 year old male, average build. Jonas suffers from OCD-like neurosis that expresses itself in his obsession with creating minimalism environments in every facet of his life. The strict way in which he lives serves as a means to quell the guilt he feels as a result of witnessing his brother's childhood death. This is a very demanding role--subtle dialog requires that the actor will need to express many of these emotions internally and not be able to rely on situations or dialog to get across these ideas. Film experience required.
This is a "no-budget" film production, so NO monetary compensation can be offered.
Actors will be wonderfully fed, get the experience of a small, organized shoot and have the opportunity to use this film on their reel.
Production will occur in Spring 2012. There will be preparation time required for the actors with some unconventional rehearsing techniques.

Casting call for two film projects in PDX (N. Portland)
We are casting for two projects here in Portland, one is comedic (a paying gig), the other is a character based drama with strong characters (non-paying).
PAYING GIG
A series of humorous shorts centered around a bar, satirizing sitcom conventions while developing an intriguing and complex ensemble of characters. Actors should be experienced in comedy. Several parts available, many with lines, some without. Most of the parts are for people between the ages of 21 and 35, but we will be considering men and women of all ages and backgrounds. This is an ongoing project, and if hired you will be payed per day. Compensation varies from part to part.
NON-PAYING GIG
We are making a character-heavy 40 minute independent short film with a large cast, all speaking parts. This is ideal for people who are only now getting into acting, as we are looking for new faces. The more diverse the cast the better, so we will be considering men and women of all ages and backgrounds. Actors should be able to improvise from provided material, and should be comfortable with themes of infidelity, dishonesty, and heartbreak. Most of the people cast will work one day, and all actors will be given a copy of the film when it is finished, as well as opportunities to interact with the public at screenings, panels, et cetera. The project is an experiment in high-brow low-budget cinema, and will likely be a satisfying and freeing experience for everyone involved.

Extras Needed For Comedic Short Film (McMinnville)
I need 50 people for a comedic short film that I am shooting in McMinnville on Saturday, January 28 from 8am to 10am. It is for an episode of my web series called "Awkward Moments With Jesus". This episode is called "Speed Dating" and will have Jesus and His friend, Daniel, trying to find a girlfriend and the hilarity that follows. I need 25 men and 25 women to make this scene work correctly.

Actresses for Vampire Film (Portland)
Wanted: two actresses to play a vampire and a vampire victim in short, simple film.
Basic plot: a passionate, free-spirited vampire couple is bored one night and decides to seduce and kill a boring, domestic couple . . . solely for the fun of it! The male of the vampire couple feeds on the female of the human couple, and the female vampire feeds on the human male.
Experience required: None required (but not discouraged either); just looking for someone interested in experimenting with different roles in power and pleasure on film.
Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old. The film contains NO NUDITY, but does deal with implicit sexual and violent themes (it is a vampire movie).
Other: Must be visually expressive, as this will be a silent film.
Projected shooting: February/March.

As part of my immersion into my digital media and film program in school I am putting together a short dramatic piece exploring the subconscious. The piece follows a young man, who loses total consciousness and in his blacked out state encounters a young woman of whom when he regains consciousness believes he has always known her.
The two characters are both in their early 20s. Paul, the male lead, is a clean cut, somewhat intellectual looking young man. The female lead, Daphne, is a rather simple yet attractive young woman with a slight aura of shyness to her character.
No experience necessary.

"Push" is a senior thesis film about a high-school bully.
We need:
Push -- the bully
Eugene -- drools incessantly
Slud -- disabled, uses crutches
Clob -- plagued by acne
Frank -- overweight
John Williams -- the anti-bully
We also need some giggling high school girls who have a crushes on John Williams the new kid, and also someone to play a very short role of a maid/mother, and possibly a damsel in distress.
This is a non-paying gig but we will provide meals during long shoot days, a DVD of the film will be provided when it's done and also great seats at the premiere.
We are planning on shooting the weekends of February 10-12, 17-19, 24-26.
