We are looking for someone who enjoys selling multi-media sales packages, can prospect and close new business. Properties also include, KGW.com, Estrella TV, KGW 24/7 and Northwest Cable News. Individual is responsible for client calls, establishing relationships with current account base, developing new business, aggressively pursuing revenue increases from existing accounts, proposals, presentations, managing orders, and coordinating and assisting in the creation of television commercials for new business and agency clients. Individual must be able to creatively prospect and sell customized proposals, special marketing projects, as well as integrated sales packages.
Position requires excellent communications skills including the ability to compose and deliver strong sales presentations, proven track record of new business development skills and good organizational and prospecting skills. Prior Media sales experience 2+ years and computer experience in a Windows environment. College degree preferred.

Ace of Ruin Piratical Entertainment is looking for talented swashbucklers to shanghai crews aboard our good ship the Salacia's Favour. Men and women between the ages of 21-35 are welcome to audition for on-call work that will be seeing it's busiest time of year.
This type of entertainment is for both kids and adults, featuring anything from "Follow The Leader" to historically accurate drinking games! Ideally, our future plunderer will have experience working with kids, and is certainly not afraid to command a rowdy group and give them a good adventure. Preferably, the future pirate has their own vehicle, as well as piratical, and most importantly, entertainment experience. Garb will not be provided by the crew, however we will help with any alterations, antiquing or ideas/inspirations. All other equipment, training, scheduling and appointment-making will be handled by the Captain and the Master-at-Arms-- all you need to do is show up to the location after you are debriefed, and collect your earnings.
If you have ever wanted to take a hobby in piracy, this is one venture that will actually pay... it's all about having fun, and more importantly, giving the guest the best damn time they've ever had! Be a part of the Salacia's Favour, and join the fun, rowdy, unique style that makes us one of the best.
We're also looking for men and women to join our recreational crew, and though generally lacking pay, makes up for it in good times (i.e. drinking, singing, fighting) at various events, faires and the like. I am a photographer in Portland currently working on a series of portraits. I am seeking all ages, ethnicities, etc. for this project and would also like to build a database of talent to use for future projects. I have a small studio here in NE, though am willing to travel if you have a unique environment/circumstance or are unable to travel. My goal is to show the diversity of Portland through portraits of its inhabitants. As said, ALL types welcome. I work quick, usually under an hour. This is an unpaid gig, though I can offer all images on a disk that you can use for portfolio use, facebook, etc.. Please respond with a description of yourself or a photo (cell phone shot is fine). I will respond with available dates, my website and credentials. Again, I'd like to reiterate that I am looking for ALL types of Portlanders... We are filming in Portland for a documentary film about horror fans that will be released nationally this fall. Celebrities in the film include Tom Savini and scream queen Linnea Quigley. Why not you too?

FANS:
If you are an obsessed fan, have a horror-based business or an extensive collection of horror memorabilia, an out of the ordinary obsession with horror, or just a healthy hunger for all things horror please contact us. Looking for part time and full time fans. Looking completely normal or different than expected is a plus. The interviews range from 3 minutes to 15 depending on how much you have to talk about.
NON-FANS:
Please have a strong opinion about horror fans or reasons why you are adverse to this type of entertainment. Looking for people who are against horror, or who are against exposure to violent media. Also looking for specialists. Are you a teacher, counselor or psychologist? Do you have special insight? If you are very knowledgeable with credentials, we may be able to plan a special shoot with you. Interviews run 3 minutes to 15 minutes.

A bunch of Portland creatives are getting together to shoot three spec commercials over the next few weeks. All of the crew and talent involved will be creating these specs for the purpose of enhancing our directing/producing/acting reels. We work with important players in the Entertainment Industry on a regular basis and being a part of these commercials is a great way to network and possibly create future paid opportunities.
