September Auditions, Nutz-n-Boltz theater
Hello
For all who may be interested in community theater (very professional quality, but CT nonetheless) we are holding our season auditions September 9 and 10.
Auditions for Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol and The Odd Couple will take place at the Boring-Damascus Grange Hall off HWY 212 in Boring. This location is about 30 minutes from nearly everywhere in the Portland area.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from script and an interview
We are a small theater, nearly non-profit and pay all our actors a small stipend - we have been producing shows for over six years and our audience has built up in that time.

Teaching Opportunities
Christian Youth Theater (www.cytvanport.org) is accepting resumes for teachers. We are looking specifically for people who have expertise in teaching dance, acting and musical theater to kids ages 8 to 18. CYT holds classes in Beaverton, Portland Eastside and Vancouver. Classes are 2 hours, once-a-week, for 10 weeks with sessions starting in September, January and March.

Feature Length Movie Needs Extras! (Scappoose/Portland)
You are cordially invited to an all call for talented actors taking place in Scappoose, Oregon (20 min NW of Portland) for a feature length film being shot August 22nd through August 27th. So here is my question: Do any of the following describe you?
Men and women ages 18 -- 50 for guest spots and extras
Boys and girls ages 14 -- 19 for guest spots and extras
Girls ages 6 -- 10, 14 -- 16 and 17 -- 19 for guest spots and pageantry
Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent. A waiver will be made available upon arrival at casting, so bring your parents!
Please note that while some roles will be compensated, most will be volunteers only. This, however, is a great way to start or add to your resume!
The casting call will take place Saturday, August 13th from 10am to 2pm. It will be held at Scappoose High School (33589 SE High School Way) in the gym.
