This page contains auditions posted on Friday, March 11, 2011.
Thank you to those of you who have continued to share details about traveling for auditions and booked work. It seems like most local actors are traveling around the Portland and WA areas for potential work and booked gigs.
I am still curious how many people actually travel to LA or Seattle for potential gigs. I mentioned earlier this week that I imagine if something like pilot season offered a chance to be seen in LA by top casting directors, this may be worthwhile, but otherwise, I'm just not sure how many of us would need to make that trip. How far do you travel for auditions? How often do you travel to audition?
Have you ever submitted a video audition in place of traveling, and if so, was this an option listed in the audition post, or was this an option you brought up to the casting director? Continue to share your thoughts on traveling for potential and/or confirmed work.
If you are a fan of the blog, please share this with actor friends. If you have any feedback for me on how to improve my blog, share this with me so that I may work on improving the blog.
Thanks.

Seeking female, 25-45 for on-camera testimonial for a tool/hardware/DIY product in a national TV spot we’re shooting (major brand). We need you to take these hand tools, try them, and talk with us on film. Must have worked with and have a basic knowledge of common hand tools. You do not need to work with tools at work. We’re looking for real women, not models. This is NOT a paid gig, but you will receive free tools for your time.
Please respond if interested and tell us about yourself and your availability to come in for a quick interview. Send a photo if possible.

Still Seeking actress for role of Chelsea in On Golden Pond
HART Theatre is still seeking an actress to play the role of Chelsea in On Golden Pond.
We are looking for someone who will fit the playwright's notes and blend well with the rest of the cast.
Chelsea is daughter to Norman and Ethel Thayer, still searching for her own happiness and has, up until now, opted to pursue her career rather than create a family. She is athletic and capable, but struggling with her own placement.
Performances run May 6th-29th. All roles are unpaid.
Carrie Boatwright- Artistic Director
