CASTING CALL!

Casting for child actors is now open for the George Fox University advanced student production "Through The Mailbox" (Working Title), a short film (10-15 minutes) that will be submitted to this year's George Fox Film Festival.

Audition Time: Sunday, JANUARY 30, e-mail to set up a time for the audition
Audition Place: George Fox University Media Center (Newberg)

Synopsis: Susan and Charlie lead parallel lives but always seem to miss each other. The story starts with them as kids showing similarities in their lives. The kids grow into adults and their parallel lives continue until one day when Susan (who works at the post office) just so happens to be putting mail into Charlie’s box, right when he is opening it.

A Copy of the Script Will Be Sent Upon Request.

No previous acting experience required to audition.

Because this is a student production, the roles in this project are unpaid, but DVD copies of the finished film will be provided for the actors after the completion of the film, and actors will be notified of the dates of the Fox Film Festival after the film is submitted.

Roles needed:
1 Girl (Age: 7-10, Hair Color: Brunette or Black)
1 Boy (Age: 7-10, Hair Color: Blonde or Brown)

Hair color is specified for the sake of looking like the adult actors

The time commitment for child actors would involve 1-2 days of filming on one of the following weekends: Feb. 19-20…Feb. 26-27…Mar. 5-6.

Director—Natalie Daly

Thank you for your consideration, and we hope to see you at auditions!

Reply to: Please contact director Natalie Daly at ndaly08@georgefox.edu to obtain a copy of the script and confirm an audition spot on Sunday, January 30th.

Independent film casting call.

We are currently filming a production in the area. We are in need of extras of all types for general background.

In addition, we have several supporting roles for both men and women that also need to be cast as soon as possible including:

A police officer (Would be open to either gender on this one)
A business executive (male)
A Stripper (Female, the scene does NOT involve her dancing and she is dressed normally)
Three different love interests of the main characters (female)
Strip club manager (male, ideally a big man)
Kidnapping victim (female)

The last roles are the members of a motorcycle gang. This is not the type of group that first comes to mid when you say "motorcycle gang" however, The group rides sport style bikes ("crotch rockets") and are young and clean cut. We need both males and females for this group, we have professional riders to actually ride the motorcycles so don't worry if you don't know how to ride.

General extra's are unpaid (we don't have budget to film a lot of extra scenes so if you come out you will almost certainly be in the final cut of the movie). The supporting roles are paid $250 a day and the gang members are paid $300 a day.
