Feature length thriller needs cast!
Casting for a feature-length thriller, filmed in the Portland/Metro area, beginning in February. Please submit all emails with “Crawlspace-(character name)” in the subject heading. Character Breakdown:
Police officer #1: Official in speak and appearance, any gender/ethnicity.
911 operator: Simple, calm, cool, clerical. Any age/gender/ethnicity.
Police officer #2: Voiceover, any age/gender/ethnicity.
Girl (victim/ghost): Late teens (over 18 A MUST) to early 20’s, very fair/pale complexion. She is all about reaction, facial expression, and may require near or partial nudity.
TV Reporter: Professional appearance, speaking with a “TV/radio” voice and with a cadence a plus. Mid-20’s to late 30’s, any gender/ethnicity.
Julie: 30’s, any ethnicity, outgoing, married (and divorced) several times and is constantly looking for her next ex-husband. Beth’s best friend and has been for some time, she knows most of the intimate details of Beth’s marriage relationship and past.
Beth: Late 20’s to early 30’s, caucasian, married and in the first months of pregnancy. An experienced photographer on sabbatical, she has had mental/emotional problems in the recent past but has made much progress recently. She possesses a quiet, subtle attractiveness. Must be comfortable around small dogs.

Female Models needed for video shoots (Beaverton, OR)
Auditions being conducted for this Thursday, January 27th at 10am in Beaverton, OR.
Be lots of fun, great in front of the camera, speak well, and be energetic. Work would be mostly outside, as we shoot video of used car inventories and you would be a spokesperson. Dress nicely, but comfortable for the weather, if we call you in. Knowledge of cars is helpful, but not necessary. Part time for now, could lead to full time.

Casting Search (Portland/Vancouver/Rainier)
Hello all talented people of the Portland metropolis!
The casting department of a local upcoming film short needs YOU!
The search is on for those of you who are motivated by a passion to be on film,
a love for accentuating the story and who burn to express the purpose of the character you portrait.
This is a passion project with a modest budget that will focus on art direction and production quality.
Each person chosen will have a distinct look created for them, will be well fed
and have an opportunity to shine and be acknowledged for their work.
This meaningful short will also be submitted to film festivals and debut
at the Hollywood Theater.
Auditions will be held February 2nd and 3rd between 5 and 8pm in the Pearl District.

Female actor/voice actor needed
Developing a supernatural thriller novelette to turn into a recorded book (sort of like a podcast). Need a female actor/voice actor 30-40ish to record the book intro (you would be reading about 5 pages right now). Would like a preliminary recording to take place by 2/2 but that might be pushing it. (I have a studio critique next week)
Skills needed:
Previous acting and/or recording experience
Subtle character personality development
Ability to read male and female parts
Jamaican/West Indian accent a plus plus
British accent a plus
I'm a graduate student in the art department of PSU and am working on this project as part of my art practice. As a creative myself I value talent, but as a student am only able to pay $15/hr per recording hour. This first session will probably take about 2-3 hours. I will give you what we record as an MP3 to use on your reel if you like.
This will be a fun project! If you are interested let me know, I would love to chat with you about it and send you the text you will be reading from. I can also provide you with a sample of another podcast I did if you want to know what you're getting yourself into. All's Well That Ends Well Auditions
Willamette Shakespeare is pleased to announce auditions for its outdoor, summer 2011 production of All's Well That Ends Well. For our third season, we will again be performing for three weeks in outdoor spaces in Portland and Willamette Valley wine country. And once again, all shows will be free for audience members. Rehearsals will be take place in Portland. For dates and locations, actor stipend and other information about the auditions and performances, please see the details below.

* Auditions will be held in a studio at the Portland Actors Conservatory. The address is:

When (by appointment):

You will have up to three minutes. Please prepare one or two classical theatre pieces, at least one of which is in verse. Please bring a headshot and current resume.
You will hear from us very shortly with confirmation of your audition time.
Callbacks will be Saturday February 12th 10 AM - 4 PM. Callbacks will consist of reading from the script. Sides will be sent out prior to the callback.

Most rehearsals will be in Portland with a few outdoor rehearsals down in Yamhill County. There will be mandatory pick-up rehearsals on Thursday 8/11 and 8/18 which will be at the performance spaces in Yamhill County.

Actor stipend is $500. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any equity contracts at this time.
