Jazz Choreographer for Dance Team Routine
I am looking to hire out a choreographer for my local high school Dance Team's Jazz/Contemporary routine. Experience choreographing for competitive HS dance team greatly preferred. The routine will need to be 2:30-3:00 minutes, highly textured (with group choreography ranging in difficulty, since talent is diverse on team), technically advanced (in regards to leaps, turns, etc), with a formation change (can be small shift or completely new shape) every two-eight counts at minimum. The routine will be performed by around 20 dancers.

You will need to be available two or three Saturday mornings in mid-November, so you can come to our practice facility and teach the girls the routine/formations. I predict the routine will take around six hours to instruct. With that in mind, I'm offering $600 for the job, which would equate $50 an hour when assuming twelve hours of work (six hours for choreography, six for instruction). This is negotiable depending on experience and quality of material/creative genius.

Please copy/paste resume to email (versus sending attachment) OR cover letter highlighting relevant expertise, your availability in November, and pay expectations if different from above. Also, if you have a creative "vision" this gig post has inspired, let me know! Themed pieces certainly stand out.

Thank you for your interest : )

Compensation: $600

CASTING FOR LEAD FEMALE ROLE IN VAMPIRE SERIES! (Portland)
I'm looking for an actress from 18 to 30 who is willing to transform for this role. The character channels the look of Lisbeth Salander from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, but her personality is the opposite.

If you are game to become this character, I will make sure we get the best possible team for the shoot.

We won't be shooting this until early 2013, so over the next couple months we will be actively looking for the right actress and doing video auditioning for the role.

E-mail me with any previous work, some headshots, and what you would do to match the look (i.e cutting/dying hair, piercings, or tattoos?) and I will send you the first draft of the script.

Compensation: Between $300 & $600 (Flat Rate)

Wonder Woman needed for Sunday Oct 21st

Greetings all -

I produce a huge charity event every year called Women Of Wonder Day, at Excalibur Comics, as a benefit for local domestic violence programs, and have raised over $135,000 in the last six years.  It is mostly an art auction, but we also have artists drawing and comic people doing autographs, giveaways, door prizes, and costumed characters for people to take photos with.  You can see more at
www.WomenOfWonderDay.com

As the event started out as Wonder Woman Day, we've had a local woman play Wonder Woman every year, in a custom-made costume.  She greets people, poses for photos, and interacts with children.  She even got a brief appearance in the documentary film Wonder Women: The Untold Story of the American SuperHeroine, making rounds in film festivals now prior to its PBS debut in the spring.

This year, we unexpectedly find ourselves in need of a woman to play Wonder Woman.
She needs to be 5'9"-6" and in good shape to fit the costume and character.
She needs to have a fun demeanor, interact well with kids, and be comfortable in the costume.
We have the wig, the full costume (including boots), and even some enhancers if one is not particularly busty.
She would need to be at the event from 11:30-6:30, and "on" from 12-6, on Sunday, October 21st.
It is NOT a paying gig; 100% of all monies goes directly to Bradley Angle for Domestic Violence programs.

Here is a photo:

If you think you have what it takes to be Wonder Woman for a day, please drop me a good photo or two, one showing your basic (clothed) body size, and shoe size. Any visible tattoos would need to be covered.

Thanks,
Andy Mangels
