Third Eye Theatre presents
Tropical Heat

Third Eye Theatre will be holding auditions for their summer production of Tropical Heat by Rich Orloff at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Auditions will be held at The Kenton Masonic Lodge located at 8130 N. Denver Ave, on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator. This venue is accessible by bus lines 4 & 6, as well as the Max Yellow Line. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. A resume and head shot is preferred, but not mandatory. Please be prepared to list rehearsal conflicts at the time of the audition. Third Eye Theatre is a small non-profit theater company that works on a volunteer basis only, so all positions are unpaid. No appointment necessary for information call 503-970-8874.
Tropical Heat runs August 24-September 19, 2012 with shows on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at the Kenton Masonic Lodge. Rehearsals will be primarily on the weekends and some week nights starting July 1st.
SYNOPSIS
When a masterful missionary clashes with a tantalizing temptress, he doesn't have a prayer!
Set in a rundown 1920's tropical hotel, TROPICAL HEAT pits a proselytizing preacher against a passionate party girl with a past. Other characters include a curmudgeonly hotel owner named Pops, a bum named Doc, and a tormented young painter who hasn't painted anything yet because he's still learning how to be tormented. The tension between the pious pastor and the vivacious vixen continues to build and build and BUILD, until passionate fury succumbs to furious passion.
TROPICAL HEAT is a play which gains from gender-bending casting, because beyond its madcap humor, it's ultimately a tale of acceptance. TROPICAL HEAT shows the power of love can make us want to spend our lives with someone we otherwise would spend ten minutes with.

International Criminals have captured an elite special agent. A lone female agent goes to rescue him.
We are making a short melodrama-action parody & looking to film a single scene to put on Kickstarter. This is very low budget mini-short. 30 yr old female needed for instructional firearms video (Newberg)
This is a PG ad! A lot of these talent gigs kind of creep me out so I want to disclaimer this by saying that I'm looking for a normal girl. One that wears clothes.
I'm looking for someone around 30 years old who can be our model for an instructional firearms video that we'll be releasing soon. Think of a women's workout video, but for learning how to shoot. If this vague description sounds like something that you would buy, then you'd be a good fit for the video.
No previous acting or marksmanship experience is required. If you have neither, than someone who is active/outdoorsy will work great. "Adrift in New York" auditions in Vancouver
Serendipity Players is holding auditions for the melodrama, "Adrift in New York," by Addison Aulger. Directed by JJ Harris. Auditions to take place June 12th and 13th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Serendipity Playhouse. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Headshots and resumes are welcome but not required.
