AUDITIONS!! (Indent Studios)
Friday, March 23rd 5:00pm--9:00pm and Saturday, March 24th 10:00am--2:00pm for LIGHTS FADE a short film produced by Monica Graves, photographed by Paulius Kontijevas, and written and directed by Dylan Wainwright. This will be a paid gig. Here is a brief synopsis and character descriptions.
In LIGHTS FADE a successful young couple learns that the intimate bond we share with those closest to us can be fragile and needs attention. One night, a random event causes Sarah and Jeff to examine their relationship and why they are drifting apart. Just as it is becoming evident to the couple that technology is creating isolation between them, Norm, an elderly neighbor, brings a selfless and important perspective to the couple's plight. A revelation in the final moments of LIGHTS FADE profoundly affects Sarah and Jeff and the way they respond leads to a powerful and moving resolution.
JEFF -- 30's, is a cocky, professional who has a slight addiction to media and technology. He is a good guy, however, and loves his wife. (Sarah)
SARAH -- 30's, is a smart, professional woman who desires more romantic time with her husband. (Jeff) She is not a good cook.
NORM -- 70's, is an outgoing and cheerful widower who just wants a little company. He hides a painful memory with a constant smile.
Auditions will be held at INDENT STUDIOS, 1535 Southeast 9th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214. Callbacks will be held on Tuesday March 27th. Tentative shooting dates are mid to late April. Casting Call
We are looking for actors for an Independent feature to be shot in the PDX. Experienced actors only, between 18-40, both men and women. Improv experience a must. We are looking for serious actors who can dedicate about 4 months, part time, for rehearsal and character development before principle photography. Director's last film Centro de Gravidade (Center of Gravity) was shot in Brazil and premiered at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival last November ,where it was nominated for best feature film.

Synopsis:
"The Brewpub" is a comedic character-driven web series about Scott and Brandon, two best friends who hang out together at a local Portland brew pub. Mike is a mid 40s married man who spends a lot of time with his loving, very social wife Karen. He is quiet, but funny, down-to-earth, honest and loyal. He spends many evenings going out socially after work, sometimes at the local brew pub, where he and Karen meet and befriend Scott and Brandon.
[ZACH] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20s]
Zach is a mid-to-late 20s gay male who is friends with Scott and Brandon. He doesn't mind drinking some beers, but generally prefers cocktails like cosmos. Zach is very social, occasionally stopping by to chat with Scott and Brandon briefly before bouncing off elsewhere. He is youthful, energetic and not afraid to be himself.

www.zfcreative.com is seeking an associate editor for our production team. We're interested in finding another editor to hand off paid work to.
We have a trial period in which you will work with one of our directors on a simple project, and if everything goes smoothly and we see your skills under deadlines, we will pass you paid work. We've done this with our two in-house editors and now their plate is full. The first project will be a simple 3 minute interview for an independent book company, no pay, but the experience and connections will ultimately lead to paid work.
