Voice Narration for NPO Launch Video

Foregon is a new Portland based non profit organization geared toward helping small current and potential businesses succeed in Oregon. We are about to launch our site featuring a 2-3 minute stop motion video explaining our work. We are in need of a confident but calm, NPR style, male voice to narrate. As we are a non profit, we cannot afford to pay, but we are able to offer free studio recording time for your own purposes or possibly some free professional graphics or photography. It is a short script and depending upon your experience, we expect the recording time would only be 1 or 2 hours. If you are interested, please email a short recording of yourself (maybe 15 or 30 seconds) reading anything you choose to and any information regarding past experience in voice acting/radio. Experience is not necessary...maybe you are just a person with a unique voice that reads reliably.

Extras needed for Wednesday day or overnight Saturday/Sunday) (Lloyd Center Applebees)

A feature film needs extras and featured extras to populate a busy restaurant set in rural or suburban America.

Wednesday March 21 7:00am-10:00am
Several people needed for a montage scene: please bring layers, additional tops, and caps.

Overnight Saturday/Sunday March 25 12:30am-7:00am
We will be on location at 12:30am and filming will last two or three hours. 5 restaurant patrons needed

The primary look we would like are middle age or older Caucasian men and women with larger frames. Dress casual, or with the idea of a middle America truck stop family restaurant. We would love extras of other ethnicities who are also middle age or older, of any body type. Clothing should also be casual.

The film chronicles over sixty characters in a vast matrix of incessant correspondence. The story this correspondence forms begins with Jake, a young neurotic who is persuaded to leave his small hometown and move to the city to live with his friend Sean, a fanatical poet who survives by swindling inexperienced Craigslist customers. When Jake arrives in the city Sean has disappeared, and as he struggles to secure a job and a place to stay, Jake discovers a nocturnal world of neon poverty in which his friend is thriving.
