As mentioned yesterday, I have been unable to post for quite some time, but will continue to post auditions daily and sometimes weekly with updates throughout the week as new auditions come up. As a working actor, it has become more difficult to devote daily time and energy to update this FREE resource for actors.

------------------------------------------------Portland Shakespeare Project's 2013 Summer Season Auditions
Portland Shakespeare Project will be holding general auditions for our 2013 Summer Season on Sunday October 14th, from 6:00 to10:00 pm, and on Tuesday, October 16th, from 3:30-9:00 pm. Auditions will be held at Artists Repertory Theatre, 1515 SW Morrison Street, Portland. We will be doing a Shakespeare play and an additional project. All Roles Are OPEN. Still casting clean/Christian movies (Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR)
I am still accepting submissions for all available roles. (Will continue to repost this until October 15th which is last scheduled auditions.) Both of these full-length movies contain many of the same characters. I am looking to produce them sometime in the next year. Possibly start shooting in February. The goal is to shoot a couple scenes in the next couple months for promo to get financing using Kickstarter so these will be paid gigs.
Available roles are:
Males:
-James (the male lead). He must be Caucasian and preferably mid-30's. The character struggles with his past deeds and how to rectify what he has done. He becomes a Christian partway through.
-Craig - at least part Caucasian in his mid 30's to early 40's to play a molester (at least in his past).
-Daniel - a Caucasian male, in his 30's, to play an assistant pastor.
-Danny - of any race in his 30's to play the short-term boyfriend of lead female.
-Ben - of any race in his early to mid 20's. Father of a seriously ill boy.
Females:
-Ruth (long time girlfriend of James) must be Caucasian and preferably early to mid-30's to play a bitter, angry woman whose boyfriend molests their teen daughter. Somewhat of a Christian.
-Anna - of any race in her late 20's to mid 30's to play a small business owner, Christian, friend of the lead female.
-Jenna- of any race in her mid 20's to play a character who is strongly against abortion.
-Kara - of any race in her mid 20's. Mother of a seriously ill boy.
-Eva - of any race in her late teens/early 20's, irresponsible/overwhelmed mother of sick child.
Children:
-Benjamin - of any race, a boy around the age of 2 to play ill boy.
-Ian - of any race, a sick boy around 1 years old.
-any kids from the age of 3 months to 5 years for daycare scenes.
-any kids from 6 to 18 years for church scenes.

We're a local agency looking for actors/actresses for a hybrid live action/animation commercial spot. The parts are not speaking roles, but we are looking for the following parts:

------------------------------------------------New haunted house needs actors (Delta Park)
Studio 13 is looking for volunteer cast members for its inaugural production "Four Horsemen Haunted Attractions," a full scale, fully themed, fully detailed haunted walk through to scare and thrill Portland residents this year. All we need is you to come scare our guests. We are in need of a cast of a 35-50 per night, so there are plenty of openings. Can't work every night? No problem! We are happy to work around whatever schedule you may have. No experience as a monster? No problem! We fully train our monsters to ensure a safe and fun atmosphere. Let our experienced monster herders bring out the zombie, creature or monster in you.
We are looking for cast members who are:
-at least 16 years of age
-are able to act for a 4-6 hour shift, with breaks,
-are eager to scare.
We currently do not have any paid positions, but volunteers are awarded with prizes, free tickets, a wrap party and other goodies. A portion of each ticket sold goes to benefit many local groups such as The Oxford House, Milwaukie High School Thespians, Evergreen High School Marching Band, The Oregon Food Bank, as well as furthering community theater through Studio 13.
