Portland Shakespeare Project is pleased to announce 2012 Season Audition Dates.
Our 2012 Season will include a world premiere adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear, written and adapted by C.S. Whitcomb, which will also be our Fertile Ground 2012 Project. C.S.Whitcomb co- penned Holidazed, with Marc Acito, and received critical acclaim for her play The Book of John which was part of The JAW new play festival at Portland Center Stage in 2007.
Tuesday, September 27th - 3:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday, October 8th - 10:00am-3:00pm
Auditions will be held at Artists Repertory Theatre, 1515 SW Morrison St., Portland, Oregon 97205
**Please prepare 2 contrasting Shakespeare monologues and a dramatic contemporary piece should you be asked; please do not exceed 3.5 minutes with your classical choices.

to leave his small hometown and move to the city to live with his friend Sean, a fanatical poet
who survives by swindling inexperienced Craigslist customers. When Jake arrives in the
city Sean has disappeared, and as he struggles to secure a job and a place to stay, Jake
discovers a nocturnal world of neon poverty in which his friend is thriving.

Senior Models age 60+ needed for photo / video shoot
Pacific Retirement Services, Inc. (PRS), is now coordinating a photo/video shoot for its affiliate Mirabella Portland Retirement Community. PRS a not-for-profit organization that owns and operates fine senior-living communities throughout the U.S. Models will be portraying residents who live at Mirabella Portland.
Models need to be minimum age 60 to 80, have a nice smile, good teeth. No professional modeling or acting experience is necessary (but professionals are welcome also!). All ethnicities welcome. You just need to be comfortable in front of the camera. Terms are total buyout, no usage restrictions; you will be required to sign a photo release and sign a W-9. You will receive a nice lunch on each day of the shoot. Pay is a flat rate of $200/day and will be remitted within 3 to 4 weeks following the shoot.
